Theatre I is designed to introduce the student to the performance and technical aspects of theatre. Students will learn basic acting techniques (stage movement, voice development, memorization, etc.), improvisation, character development, basic scene study, script analysis, and performance critique. In small ensembles, duets, and individually, students will prepare and perform scenes and monologues in class demonstrating these skills.
