The mission of IJTS Troupe #88988 is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts and to provide service and aid to the community especially as it contributes to our growth as Thespians.

The International Junior Thespian Society (IJTS) is an honor society for theatre students. Membership is granted for the performance of meritorious work in theatre arts. Students in grades 6-8 who have earned a minimum of 10 points over the course of at least two productions are eligible for induction in the Spring semester. Points are given based on the official IJTS point system which awards points for the amount of work and level of dedication the student has shown during participation in productions, theatre classes, and other theatre activities. Students who are inducted into IJTS in middle school will be able to carry forward 5 points to high school towards becoming a member of the International Thespian Society. Our induction ceremony will take place on May 15, 2025 at 6:30pm.
