FOWLER THEATRE PARENT VOLUNTEERS

GOALS:

​

• To have a group of parents whose primary goal is to help grow a strong theatre program for Fowler Middle School

• To take over the coordinating of parent volunteers for rehearsals, show nights, and providing meals and snacks at long rehearsals

• To plan and host cast parties 

• To help with publicity of Fowler Theatre Arts productions by helping to distribute posters throughout the community, purchasing newspaper and local magazine ads, and any other forms of good publicity parents might come up with

• To raise money for specialty Improvisation Artists, Make-up Artists, Choreographers, and Musical Directors to come and work with Fowler students in theatre workshops

• To raise money for the purchasing of high end lighting and sound equipment that will help to highlight our Fowler students on and off the stage

In order to continue creating great performances, we need the help of the FISD family and community, so as you clean out your closets, storage rooms, and garages this year, remember that we’d gratefully accept just about any items you’d like to donate.  I can be contacted at 469.633.5069 or corteza@friscoisd.org. Also, feel free to drop off donations in the Theatre Room (315).

• sofas, chairs, miscellaneous seating

• long, full skirts

• old prom or bridesmaids dresses 

• dress slacks for boys and young men

• suit jackets for boys and young men
