Auditions!!

Dear Applicants, 

 

You may edit your response after it is submitted, but all entries must be completed by Monday, August 25, 2025, at 8pm. This is when the form will close and no longer accept entries. 

 

Both applicants interested in auditioning for a role and/or seeking a position as a stage manager or assistant stage manager need to sign up for an audition and be available for the callback. 

 

Auditioners MUST prepare (memorize) and submit a video of one of the songs in the application.  There will be a place in this form to submit your video. They also MUST prepare (memorize) and submit one of the monologues in the audition section. *Please make sure your face and body are showing in the videos.* There will be a place in this form to submit both videos.

Applicants interested in tech crew only need to fill out the application. 

 

Auditions are Wednesday, August 27, and Thursday, August 28, from 4:00-5:30 in the cafeteria. If necessary, a callback audition will be Friday, August 29, from 4:00-6:00 in the cafeteria.  

A few important items to keep in mind:

  1. All productions are no-pass-no-play activities.

    • If you are not currently eligible, you may still audition/apply. However, it will be taken into consideration and could be a deciding factor in whether or not you earn a spot in the show. You must have a plan in place (including tutorials) to regain and maintain your eligibility throughout the process.

    • If you do not maintain/regain eligibility throughout the rehearsal process, you will lose your role/position.

  2. Conflicts will not eliminate a student from the show; however, please think about the time commitment for this show and how it fits in with your existing activities. Be SPECIFIC with your conflicts (exact dates and times).  

    • Conflicts may be a deciding factor in whether or not you earn a spot in the show.

    • No conflicts are allowed from Monday, October 27, through Saturday, November 8, 2025. These are our tech and production days when we put it all together, and it is really important to have everyone present.


Please pay careful attention to each part of the form and fill each out COMPLETELY. Questions can be directed to Mrs. Cortez at corteza@friscoisd.org.  

The first rehearsal will be on Wednesday, September 3, from 4:00-5:30.  Please be sure to mark it as a conflict if you cannot attend. All cast and crew will be called to this first rehearsal.

Pay special attention to how you fill out your application. This reflects how serious you are about wanting to be a part of our show.
